Description:   A vulnerability was reported in Cisco ASR 5000 Series Routers. A remote user can cause the target service to restart.

A remote user can send specially crafted Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) protocol packets to the target device to trigger an input validation flaw cause the target OSPF process to restart.

The vendor has assigned bug ID CSCuv62820 to this vulnerability.

Impact:   A remote user can cause the target OSPF process to restart.
Solution:   The vendor has issued a fix.
